I’m originally from Bayonne, New Jersey and one of 12 children. I am proud to have spent 4 ½ years serving our country in the United States Navy. The first two years as a boatswains mate on a fleet tug in Hawaii. The last two years of duty were spent as a dental technician at Camp LeJeune Marine Base in North Carolina. This latter experience led me to pursuing, and ultimately becoming, a dentist. I graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill Dental School.
I began practicing in Virginia Beach in 1984, and have been at my current location for the past 7 years. I also have attended numerous advanced post-graduate dental institutes such as Pankey, Dawson in Florida, and Frank Spears institute in Scottsdale, Az.
For a number of years, I have volunteered at the Chesapeake Care Clinic providing free dental care to those without insurance. (A very rewarding experience).
I have been married for over 30 years to my wonderful wife Kristan, and live in Virginia Beach with our 4 Newfoundland dogs.
When not working, I enjoy running, (I have completed 8 half-marathons!), racquetball, reading and gardening and biking. I also enjoy cheering my beloved New York Giants, Yankees, Mets and Rangers! Can you tell I’m a fan of the “Big Apple”?
